PMRB is a non-stock, non-profit organization duly registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) having territorial jurisdiction over the cities of PASAY and MAKATI. A real estate organization composed of duly licensed brokers, appraisers and consultants who adhere to a strict Code of Ethics of the real estate profession. Founded in 1959 and having been in existence for 62 years now (2021), PMRB through its members, has continuously provided service to the public, its clients, the real estate profession and industry, upholding the professional standards of real estate practice in all real estate transactions.

The Philippine Association of Real Estate Boards (PAREB) was founded on November 7, 1938, making it the first realty board in the country, though it was not until the 1960s that the organization was formally incorporated.
